Hotel NuVe Urbane houses a total of 62 rooms and suites. There are 4 types of rooms and suites available for booking in this boutique six-storey hotel.
- NuVe Suite: 30 sqm, 1 super king-size bed
- Deluxe Double Room: 14–16 sqm, 1 queen-size bed
- Deluxe Twin Room: 14–16 sqm, 2 super single beds
- Single Room: 12–15 sqm, 1 single bed
I originally booked a Single Room as I was staying alone, but kudos to the receptionists—they kindly bumped me up to a Deluxe Double Room.
The Key Amenities in NuVe Urbane
Free Wi-Fi
The Wi-Fi was reasonably fast in all areas of the hotel. I was able to stay connected even after crossing the road from the junction where hotel is located.
Complimentary Mini Bar and Snacks
To my surprise, all snacks and drinks in the room are absolutely free—starting from the two water bottles, a few packets of light snacks, and ALL the drinks in the mini-fridge. I don't know if this is still the case though.
Swimming Pool and Restaurant
Being one of the first few guests to the newly-opened hotel, the swimming pool and restaurant wasn't operational yet. Let's see how they look like if I happen to return for a stay at this hotel!
Location and Attractions around NuVe Urbane
Hotel NuVe Urbane is located near to the central areas of Singapore. It is 8–10 minutes walk away from 3 MRT stations:
- Jalan Besar MRT (Downtown Line),
- Lavender MRT (East West Line), and
- Farrer Park MRT (North East Line),
It is also 10–15 minutes walk away from popular hangout spots within the area:
- City Square Mall, an eco-mall with over 200 stores right above Farrer Park MRT
- Haji Lane, a hip street filled with fashion boutiques and cafés
- Arab Street, a mishmash hub of Singapore, Indonesian, Malay, Arab cultures
- Mustafa Centre, a 24-hour shopping center with incredibly affordable prices
Of course, with the hotel being in close proximity to Singapore central areas, you can reach these popular tourist hotspots in a 10–15 minute taxi ride:
- Marina Bay Sands
- Gardens by the Bay
- Esplanade
- Orchard Road
